defending cutbacks and narrow crosses
Hot on the heel’s of our first ever GkNexus Xperience event, hosted by Thomas Schlieck, we are thrilled to share with you his latest session designed for your GkNexus Members area.
This fantastic session is designed to help the goalkeepers on their positional awareness, when dealing with cut backs and narrow crosses. Thomas does a fantastic job of initially moving the goalkeepers out of position, whilst practicing their distribution, before giving them a decision to make on the best position to secure for the specific situation within the exercise.
It’s a great display of the philosophy used by Thomas at Borussia Dortmund and the U15 goalkeepers within the session did not disappoint.
