Working with foundation phase goalkeepers, Eric Steele delivers an engaging session that provides multiple save opportunities for the goalkeepers, with various saving techniques.

Starting with isolated technique practice, to encourage efficient technique for the session, Eric works with the goalkeepers on the principles of close distance shot stopping, including the blocking technique.

Eric then invites the goalkeepers into a 3x mini goal game, which allows the goalkeepers to implement their learnings into a match realistic environment, with moving balls and competitive elements. 

This session can be adapted and progressed to benefit goalkeepers of all ages and ability levels.
