In what has been hailed as one of the best GkNexus calls ever, we were absolutely delighted to welcome former Manchester Utd first team assistant coach, Rene Meulensteen, onto our GkNexus education program.

Rene delivered a detailed presentation around his coaching philosophy and how the Goalkeeper is integral to it’s success. Rene also delivered insight into how all football staff can work together to develop the Goalkeeper to be a benefit to the team, as well as what he believes makes a good Goalkeeper coach. 

This call presented a unique opportunity to learn from a coach who has worked at the very top level, working alongside Sir Alex Ferguson and Eric Steele, creating a winning culture and Rene went into great detail on how they ensured that culture was implemented into every session they designed, every single day.
